On Saturday, August 12, 2023, Up2Us Sports staff, coaches and program partner Peaceplayers Baltimore attended the Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse games at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters, Sparks Glencoe, Maryland. With donated tickets from Athletes Unlimited, the group was proud to cheer on 56 of the best women’s professional lacrosse players in the World, including 2022 Champion Taylor Moreno.

Up2Us Sports Program Managers Alexis Bethea and Kyndell Overton joined in the Ceremonial Coin Toss prior to game 2 of the day.

Athletes Unlimited launched in 2020 as an innovative player-centric model of professional women's sports leagues made up of basketball, softball, volleyball, and lacrosse. The 2023 Lacrosse season in Maryland ends on August 13th, Championship Softball Season currently taking place in Rosemont, IL wraps up on August 27th, and season 3 of Volleyball will take place at Legacy Park in Mesa, Arizona from October 6 through November 6, 2023.
