Up2Us Sports' Young Voices Series is a series of one-hour virtual events in collaboration with their partner organizations, that give youth an opportunity to speak about the issues that affect them and their communities most.
On December 17, 2020, in partnership with member program Kensington Soccer Club, we hosted Episode Episode 4: Philly Youth Speak Out. This episode featured the premier of a short film starring teens from KCS, followed by a conversation with these resilient young athletes. Coming together in a socially-distanced soccer program, the youth of KSC share onscreen about their lives in the time of COVID; racial and social justice; food, financial, and housing insecurity; and political tumult.
