Up2Us Sports coaches and their families got to experience a Miami Marlins game in person this past Friday thanks to Up2Us Sports Ambassador AJ Ramos. The Marlins closer generously donated 40 tickets for the coaches and their families for a night at Marlins Park. Along with a ticket, his guests received a food voucher and the opportunity to meet with AJ on the field during batting practice. “Ever since I joined on as an ambassador at Up2Us Sports in 2015, I noticed the impact the organization can have not only on the coaches, but on the young athletes that they mentor,” said Ramos. “The donation was just a small token from me to the coaches to thank them for the time and effort they put in. I know I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the great coaches I had in Little League.”
This was the first of five games that Ramos offered to host Up2Us Sports coaches. In total, he will donate 200 tickets and food vouchers along with a meet and greet at every game. In addition to the July 28th game, coaches will attend games on August 11th, August 31st, September 6th and September 30th.
Up2Us Sports was an official Charity Partner of the Miami Marlins in 2015 and 2016.

AJ Ramos was recently traded to the New York Mets. We look forward to continuing to work with him as an Up2Us Sports ambassador in New York.
