2016 Gala Celebrates the Power of a Coach

At the fourth annual Up2Us Sports Gala, supporters, donors, athletes, coaches, and celebrities came together to celebrate the power of coaches to make a positive impact in kids' lives. Honoree Dr. David Colbert was presented with the Legacy Award and Philadelphia-based squash coach Tempest Bowden was presented with the Coach of the Year Award.  Over $300,000 was raised at the event, which will go towards training coaches in sports-based youth development and placing them in under-resourced communities.
