Up2Us Sports, in partnership with the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF), announces that applications are now open for the fifth year of the LADF Field Champions program.
Launched in 2019, the Field Champions program provides an opportunity for Los Angelenos to give back to the community as coach-mentors for youth in the Dodgers Dreamteam (formerly Dodgers RBI) program. Dodgers Dreamteam is a comprehensive sports-based youth development program that uses the power of sport to provide critical resources and services to communities who are experiencing social injustices.
Up2Us Sports AmeriCorps coaches are trained in Sports-Based Youth Development (SBYD) in order to help youth identify life skills learned through sport and walk with them as they transfer these life skills to other aspects of their life.

All applicants are recommended to have prior baseball and/or softball playing or coaching experience to be considered for a position.
