[WATCH] 1-on-1 With Up2Us Sports, Episode 5: NB3 Foundation & National Nutrition Month

1-on-1 with Up2Us Sports is a virtual series hosted by Up2Us Sports where we sit down and speak with athletes, coaches, partners and others about interesting topics related to our work in the Sports-Based Youth Development field. Get up close and personal with guests of all sports backgrounds, all focused on amplifying the message of our mission: transforming youth, programs and communities.

On Thursday, March 17th, in honor of National Nutrition Month, we hosted a conversation with the Notah Begay III (NB3) Foundation - a national, award-winning Native-led nonprofit leading the way to improve Native American children’s health. We discussed the crucial work the Foundation does, their history and their Zero to 60 Challenge which challenges families to remove sugary beverages and drink more water. There was a live demonstration of how to make healthy, fruit infused waters (see recipes below)!

If you missed it, watch the episode on our IGTV Channel.
